EASY PEEL HARD BOILED EGG RECIPE

adapted from Serious Eats

  1. Fill pot with enough water to cover egg. Eyeball this without adding eggs yet.
  2. Add 1/2t baking soda
  3. Bring to boil
  4. Gently lower cold eggs straight from the refrigerator into the boiling water. Boil 1 minute.
  5. Lower heat. Simmer 10 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile prepare a bowl of cold water with ice.
  7. Remove eggs from pot and dunk in ice bath. Leave 10 minutes.
  8. Peel while submerged in the cold water.  Easy breezy beautiful!

We’re going to see the Annie remake next week as a holiday treat with good friends.  Until then, will keep enjoying the trailers.
